I haven't played any of the spin offs, and I neither want to. I want FFVII to stay in my heart how it is right now. The game I played from day one, since I was 7 years old.

I agree with Wolf. Everyone had been waiting for years for square to get their asses into gear, and bring out a sequel to FFVII in playable, PS1 format. 10 years later and we have this bullcrap. I think it's sad how FFVII has become just another failure of a sequal that you see so often.

In my eyes, FFVII would only be done justice if square remade it to PS3 standards with the old 2D field map/3D walk-mesh format. A complete rebuilt from the ground upwards copy of FFVII with no rush and a good director.
