My strategy? Equip Berserk Charge, and alternate between Sora's Break Limit and a series of unlimited combos.

Yeah. I can't say for sure whether or not he's harder in this one or not, though. I think he's a bit easier seeing as I was on proud mode an I was level 83 when I beat him as opposed to playing on Standard back when I played the first KH, beating him at level 79, I think? I might have been over 80.
Anyone will probably die on him more than any other boss, but I thought the 49th fight of the Hades Paradox Cup (and the Hades Paradox cup in genral considering you need to be level 99 to handle it without major problems) was more tedious than Sephiroth, though I got that fight on my first try. I could beat Sephiroth at 83, but there's no way I'd be able to handle the Paradox Cup at that level.
I'm at level 61. I'm planning on getting another 10 or 20 before I even think about it.
I owned him in about 20-25 tries on Standard mode at level 60 something.
I had him pretty easily spamming Break and using Ethers/Reflect wisely. Also Aerial Recovery is your friend.

I saw Rice Cake take down Seph on his third try. He was taking like 6 health bars before Seph could even touch him.

I'm at level 51 and Sephiroth owned me pretty bad. The next time I'll try again will probably be at level 65 when I obtain Berserk Charge.

I don't think your supposed to beat him level 47, so I went to get 5 levels, and now I'm not leaving till I win.
