addicted to the sweet nector of soda
I tryed to quit drinking soda for the first time in my life. I have been drinking it since I was like 5. I can't do it, I go a day without it and start getting sick( head ache, dizzyness, drymouth, blury vizon, loss of apitite). As soon as I drink some soda it starts to go away and is gone in about 30 mins.
I am getting closer to quiting went down from 4, 44 oz dr.peppers a day to 1 44 oz dr.pepper a day.
anyone else addicted?

I don't get addicted to things. I quit drinking pop two weeks ago.then again, i rarely drank it before hand. I'm a water/juice guy.
I'm addicted to diet soda when it's available. I mean, if I have a case at home I'll drink at least one a day, sometimes two. But if I don't have any around I can go for weeks without it. It's just when it's in my reach that I can't get enough or say no to that stuff.
Wow I am addicted to soda too(pop I call it) but not as much as you dirk. I have to drink a can a day or I will get a caffeine headache. I have tried to quit several times, but man I just can't.
Old enough to know better, but dumb enough to do it anways.

I really can't drink just water. I can't! Unless I'm really, really, really thirsty. Then water is the ONLY thing I want to drink! :D
But then again, like Miriel, I can manage without it if I have to.

I use to drink a 12 pack of mt dew everyday. Now I drink a 12 pack od coke in a week or 2.
I could never become addicted to that stuff, because I care too much about my teeth.
The best way to get over any addiction is to go on a diet mainly consisting of fish, preferably Trout.
