Grendels?

It's been awhile, everybody ^_^


Anyway... I know there's already been a few threads for getting the Lionheart on Disc 1, but what I'm wondering, is where to find Grendels.

In the official strategy guide, it says Grendels can be found in Roshfall Forest by Timber... Well, I've been searching in and around that area, but still can't seem to find any of those. Any suggestions?

Ultimecia's Castle...thats the only place Ive found them.
That, and Balamb Garden, when NORG was in control.
But they killed all of those monsters, haaha

The Island closest to Heaven or Hell (hell I think)

or The Deep Sea Research Center. (one of the floors you will constantly run into an Imp and a Grendel all the time.

Err, I'm specifically looking for grendels on disc 1, fairly early =\

Try searching around the forest that separates Timber and Galbaldia Garden, where you have the second Laguna sequence. Stay close to the mountainside and you should encounter them.

If you're just looking for Dragon Fangs you could try defeating T-Rexaurs between Lv20 and Lv29.
