Oooooo, did the kids steal your ice-cream again Bob? Someone's bitter.

I do agree though, some of the worst movies in exsistance revolve around this very premise. I'm looking at you Spy Kids.

er has anyone actually seen SpyKids. My logical thinking claims you can't criticise a movie until you have seen it.

Considering most movies that feature kids becoming heroes are aimed at children, I don't think people your age should enjoy them. :P At some point in life we look back and realize how stupid many of the things we enjoyed as kids were, and I'm sure these movies are no exception. It's pretty bad in a lot of RPGs and anime when the main characters are 16 and younger. It's just annoying, really.

Yep, I saw the first and third Spy Kids movies. They were only mildly entertaining, and totally unreallistic. Even exceptional kids wouldn't do the stuff that they were able to do in that movie. Buncha crap, I say.

Now as for what Azar just said, I think that movies with kids as the heroes used to be more realistic and appealing to all ages. I still watch the Goonies about once a year, and find it quite enjoyable every time I watch it. The kids in that one acted like real adolescents, they were quite rebellious, often joked with each other, were ocasionally horny and hormonal, and were often frightened of the Fratellis and of One-Eyed Willie's cunning traps; and they saved their neighborhood in a rather fantastic, but yet believable, way. That was a really cool adventure.

I hate tha movies that have kids being the 'heros' and beating the bad guys when the're like 20 years older than them (btw i AM 13) the main thing i hate is when the merchandise comes out... and u see the little kids with thier 'Spy Kids' T-shirts on and saying: 'i'm going to be just like them!!' i makes me sick don't ya think?
