Okay, I'm working on this game on RM2K3. It's in Polish, so the translated title is "Lauelon: The journey for the most beautiful of treasures" or sth like that. I've got it all planned and I'm working on it. I think I'll be posting my progress here with additional screenshots, if you're interested.
I also have a favor to ask. I'm already planning two more games: the sequel to "Lauelon" and another one, based on my novel. This time, I want to make my own sprites. Can anyone give me a tutorial of somesort as to how to make them?
Open Paint, take a basic body (which I'll post), zoom in x8, and use the pencil tool to work (don't use the default colors on the bar down there). When you finish, save it as a 256-color PNG. After you make 8, paste them in 2 rows of 4. Don't overlap any pixels while doing this or you may screw up. For a more detailed turotial on general spriting, go here.
