I'm not trying to sound cliché but, Zidane and Garnet own because they work togethor and feel inter-connected. Not like Cloud and Tifa.
I loved the Zidane/ Garnet relationship. Even though the ending is obvious, he takes off that cloak and I get all willies anyway. The strength of their love right there.
