Couple wise, who do you pay most attention to, and what love story has the most intriguing plot to you?
Mine? Beatrix and Steiner of course. I wish they would have paid more attention to them, because they really got somewhere in a short amount of time. Their relationship was so nicely plotted, and came together so well, yet unexpectedly.
It was the classic, 2 people who hate eachother and compete with eachother, find out that they love eachother. I'm not trying to sound cliché but, Zidane and Garnet own because they work togethor and feel inter-connected. Not like Cloud and Tifa.Originally Posted by SakuraAngel623

Zidane: No way! Steiner and Beatrix are very cool, my only beef with them is that S&B spent years in competition with each other and it takes a love letter neither one of them wrote to make them fall for each other.
I saw it coming a mile away to. I mean it was obvious they grudgingly respected each other and with this FF going back to its roots it was obvious they were gonna get together though I always expected Z and G to be more ambiguous.
Great points, but I just LOVE the B+S thing! They are just soooo perfect together...in a knightly way!
There is this one movie with Tom Hanks and some actress who's name I cant remember about to business rivals becoming lovers, you should watch it. It reminds me of the Beatrix Steiner relationship.
Zidane: Guess you're right about that. After all, they're going to spend the rest of their lives standing guard beside each other, it's best they start liking each other, so it's funny, that they start loving each other. It's a beautiful thing love is.

Z/G won me over when Zidane gets serious for the first time in front of her in Black Mage Village.. When they're laying in bed and he begins to tell his story "Once there was a boy..." "...Zidane?" "This boy wanted to know where he came from..." etc. etc... I thought it was one of the top three most touching moments in Final Fantasy's grand history.
