What Does Gaurdian Mog do?

Ok this is a question that has plagued me for about 3 years now.
WHAT DOES EIKOS ABILATY GAURDIAN MOG DO? like it dosent protect her from all bad status right? and it dosent lower encounter rate so..what does it do?!!!!!!

It cures Eiko of all bad statuses (except KO) at the end of battle, before the EXP/AP screen is displayed.

You're right, i never saw the protection the "Guardian Mog" ability i should give. Odd.....
