The money isnt the prob, its jus the bloody buying them, i mean can only get 99 at a time, and the greens i want are from the chocobo sage and tht means back n fourth to the stables, so ye the w-item materia will rock

good point. but i tend to just get 2 and use them, but i never thought of using a different item and then duplicating the one

Money should be no problem. I sold two mastered all materia.

Then I fed a great and good chocbo 70 sylkis greens each, maxing them out. Raced them to A class and mated them twice. I then fed the resulting blue and green chocobos 30 sylkis each, maxing them out. I Then raced them two A class blue and green chocobos and mated them. I got a black chocobo. I then maxed out my new black chocobo with 30 sylkis and got him to S class. I mated black with a wonderful A class chocobo fed with 70 sylkis and got a gold chocobo. I did that all in a day.

You only need 300 sylkis greens, which can be covered by 2 mastered all materia. Or if you have W-item use that if you want.

i now have the w-item materia, how do you duplicate the items? like sykiss greens

First you must have at least one of the item you wish to duplicate and another useable item.

• Select W-Item, select any item and confirm its use on a target.

• Select the item you wish to duplicate (so the arrows appear for target selection), then press Cancel (default is X).

• Continue alternating between O and X until you have the desired amount of the item.

Yes. You can't use any materia other than Magic out of battle.
