It would have been cool if cait sith had talked more, same goes for red XIII (for me at least, but I think he was alright just saying that one line and making people wait for it...made him kind of enigmatic.)

i just dont think the mog suit fits the film. i like cait sith on red XIIIs back. hes funny and just as good. the mog suit just wouldnt work for the film.

Yeah, and besides - every other character has got some new gear, whether it's clothing, weapons, hairstyle, or all three. Don't see why Cait Sith should be any different. It could simply be that Reeve got tired of having to store that giant stuffed to Mog. Maybe it caught fire. Maybe it was causing his friends to question his masculinity. Whatever.
Point is, there are so many possible reasons for why Reeve no longer has that thing, and it'd be pointless redundancy to have included it in the film:
*Cloud pauses in the middle of the Bahamut fight*
"Hey Cait Sith, what happened to your Mog?"
"A Dual Horn ate it."
"Oh, right."
*fight resumes*
To be honest, I don't care whether or not it suits the film, it was part of his character. And, it would've been easy to make it work in the film. Thats what directors get paid to do.Originally Posted by boys from the dwarf
