Desert Palace!!!

I have restarted my FF9 game and when i played the desert palace as Eiko.............I forgot to open all three levels in the library part............ now i seem to be stuck and it won't let me fight the final boss at the last candelabra...................any information will help............i didn't know i could get stuck like this.................please help me????

Just go back and switch on the candels you've missed.

You have switched on the big candel before you fight the boss haven't you?

It won't let me get to the two candles behind the doors in the library the only one i got in there is the bottom floor................and yes i'm fairly certain i've lit the rest..............i've ran throught the entire palace around 12 or 13 times and i believe i've got the rest............... is there any possible way to get those two i missed or am i screwed???

I don't know what two candals you mean.
Have you been in the room past the moogle, where the secret stairs appear?

yeh i been all the way up to the final candelabra it just won't let me light it

What about the candel near the start, where the two statues are. There's a hidden stairway that leads to one, have you lit that.

i thought there were more cadles in the library............ the walkthrough says i have to open two hidden doors...........well actually i had them open but i left the screen and they closed on me???

You've got what, the candel that i said or the boss?
If you still need the candel in the libary, then just go back and light it, you should still be able to do that.

i got the candle at the beginning.........the boss won't show........and it won't let me go back into the areas i missed any suggestions

have you gone up that staircase where the boss battle is sposed to be? (sorry if you have already gone through this i didnt read the rest of the thread lol)

I don't get that, you should be able to go back into areas you've missed.
The only thing i suggest is, if you've got a save spot at the start, then load it and begin again.

that what sucks about it this happens to be my only save spot.............that's why i left the screen to begin ............... to go save at the moogle

when i first did it the other day, i went up the stairs and the boss battle wouldnt commence, but i could go back... i needed to go into the upperfloor of the library and turn the candle on up there, really strange u cant go back

I think everyone who's played ff9 has been stuck in Desert Palace, i got stuck at the part where the moogle is, i always went near the right part of the screen instead of the left, thus not finding the other area.

I don't understand how you can acess the area where the last candel is if you haven't switched the ones before them on. How many candels have you lit so far.
