Found some information from ps3land.com. EGM is confirming that FFVII is coming to the PS3.

Yeah i agree because the made a FF8 movie for PS2 when it was first unvield but that was just to show the capabilitys of the system plus SE is a very fickle company i mean look how many times theve delayed NA realeases of game like FFVIIC and advent children

Hasn't it been said already that it would take a team of 200-300 people, and 5+ years to have this game done on PS3? I believe I heard it was the plans for the very last Final Fantasy as a "going out with a bang" type thing.

Reading the article, it says that "Square-Enix never stated this." If they meant to deny there being a FFVII remake, then this was a poor choice of words since it doesn't flat out deny it.

It'll be cool maybe, but I think everyone is smashing the hell outta this game by wanting MORE and MORE. I have the original for the PS1, love it, and won't spend the $60 that they would chrage for this PS3 game, IF the remake is ever released. Just my 2 cents.
