    Well sorry, but its true. A tech demo does NOT mean that they're going to do a remake. You can't just assume that, as much as I'd love one. It is a great game, one of my favorites. But greatest game of all time is purely a matter of opinion. Plus I did say "I wouldn't expect it anytime soon".

    I hope you're right with your assumption. I'd love a remake. Its just that the way things are, I wouldn't hold my breath. And I'm just saying it isn't logical to jump to that conclusion based on the release of a sexy little tech demo.

    It has been confirmed at the recent e3 event that final fantasy 7 is to be remade on ps3 by square enx themselves

    Can you provide links, please? I have heard nothing from E3 saying that there will be any FFVII remakes.

    Holy cow. Another assumption.

    They did NOT confirm a remake. They mentioned that they were looking into it, or something of that nature.

    I don't remember seeing/hearing that at the press....

    And like I've said before- It would ruin the FEEL of it- It would be REALLY awesome- but the colors and cheezy graphics part make it so awesome. And Better fancy ones are cool because we have experienced it - Wouldn't you want people that haven't played FF7 to play the origanal to know what it was like? There is already some sort of weird division I see with FF fans..... like FF7 and up rocks then
    the other side FF 7 and up sucks It's all about the old ones AMANO man! - To me they're all good. FF7 was my first and I love it, but the old ones are really good and cool too beat 1, playing 2, and about to beat 3 (it's just hard - But now I'm sure there will be ANOTHER division of THE ORIGINAL FF7 and the PS3 REMAKE - Not that it's important but that is my prediction- But I don't think they should do it. *shrug*

    Can't access gamespot from work, but the other two never mention FFVII aside from Crisis Core and Dirge or Cerberus.

    Actually, e3expo mentions no news at at all. It's a general info page that gives no info on games at all, just events, with e3insider being the gaming news site.. Which, once again, makes no mention of a remake.
