Carob Nut

Okay apparently to breed a blue or green chocobo i have to feed my yellow chocs a carob nut which can only be stolen from a certain enemy in the woods surrounding bone village? but i cant get in a battle in those woods, am i in the right place?

Go southeast from Bone Village, to the grassy area on the penninsula. That's where you'll find those red T-Rex type monsters. I forget what their called. Anyways, there's a fairly high encounter rate there.

Yeah on those islands South of it, there should be an island with two different colour grasses'. Run on th line between the different colour and you'll fight the T-rex thing immediately without fighting any squirrel like things.

On the grassy area on the south side of Bone Village you'll encounter two enemies: Vlakorados and Trickplay. Vlakorados' have a lot of HP (33,333) but they're easy to kill. You can steal Carob Nuts from them.

You can also buy Carob Nuts from the Wonder Square for 500 GP.
