How did you celebrate the new Millenium?

It was nothing special for me. I was at a mate's house, we let off some fireworks and got drunk. That was about it.

I had a terrible night...My ex's brother was having a "party" which turned out to be his brother and his wife, his two cousins and one of their wives, and us. They sat around drinking beer and playing Quake. My ex and I ended up in a huge fight and we didn't speak to each for two days...

during that year (or maybe the next), my family and i went on an 8-day tour of China in the summer. when we returned to the "home far away from home" country, we stayed for about a week in California with relatives and also attended the wedding of one of my cousins.

New Year's Eve...went out in the afternoon and bought slippers, socks, and Cardcaptors trading cards. Granddogs from next door came over. Painted. Watched X-Files. Painted more. Let granddogs out at midnight, to sound of leftover July fireworks. Was disappointed at complete absence of towering black monolith and/or neolithic ape creatures throwing bones in backyard. Maybe they were out front...

I do remember that my electric was down most of Millenium Eve though. I remember thinking how funny and ironic it would have been had we had no electricity for the occasion. Unfortunately the power was restored in time

Watched a fat kid I didn't know play tekken. Then I watched the same fat kid play gran turismo. I was asleep before and during the actual new year part, though.
