Death Rock
So I've been really getting into death rock recently, initially I was a little put off because off the name, but the music is really amazing and I've been really getting into bands like Christian Death, Sex Gang Children and TSOL etc...
So what is everyones favourite death rock/horrorpop bands.
Please don't say the Misfits. :mog:
You mean Death Metal? Some of it is good but the band that is most similar to death I like is Slayer.

I'm sure the term you are looking for is Gothic rock.
Death rock aka Death 'n Roll , to my knowledge is only used to describe bands like Carcass (Swansong) and Recent Entombed albums, where the core of the music is rock but there are some elements of death metal such as the vocals and what not.
Anyways, Death metal > Gothic Rock and Death Rock

me neither. Real metal came ONLY from the 89s if you ask me, after that it was mostly experimental stuff with no meaning behind them

Whoa, whoa, whoa. Death Metal is pretty awesome nowadays. Demon Hunters kick ass. Christian Death Metal kicks @$$! But for me, I like all music. Throw a song my way and I'll most likely like it.
