I'm trying to dust off my fiction skills and write something based on my experiences here in New Zealand. I have a lot of great material that I need to stop having other things to do to write it.

I'm also trying to compose stuff - mostly for Mullet's game, which I have been woefully neglectful in accomplishing. I have ideas all fleshed out, but I don't have my MIDI keyboard, and so recording with Finale 2003 is annoying. I'm so lazy I haven't even installed Finale 2006 that Nik gave me.

I do smaller stuff too, like rearrange the room, I have a plan to try growing marijuana or something cool like that. I'm also reorganizing my music library in terms of general emotions and completely annihilating any pretense of genre.

My biggest "personal project" is about to become my main project, which is exciting. I'm working on developing cancer-fighting nanomachines, and I just got a proposal approved for funding to design the first stage of the nanomachines (an in situ biopsy tool) this summer.

This is a cool thread. I like being bothered to read other people's posts.
