I'm thinking about purchasing FFIV on the GBA. How long is this game, how hard is this game and how good is this game?

It's about as long as it is. For someone going through the game the first time, not taking into account restarts from dying, it'd probably take you around twenty to twenty-five hours to complete the game without the side dungeons. Side dungeons included, you're probably looking at thirty-five to forty hours.
Difficulty wise, I won't lie, FF4 is quite a difficult RPG. It's not so much in the tactics, it's insomuch the fact that the enemy can flounce you at a startling rate. Levelling always helps.
Is it fun? Hells yeah! I believe Necro described it as "the best RPG for the GBA", and he wasn't kidding.
There is no signature here. Move along.

Vaan - "Hey, you!"
Penelo - "Yeah, you! The one reading this sig at this very moment!"
Vaan - "Interested in playing FFXII International Zodiac Job system?"
Ashe - "But you have no knowledge of the Japanese language?"
Fran - "....We could help...."
Balthier - "That's right, Fran! Just click on Crossblades' thread on the very bottom of this signature and it will show you all license grid translations, magicks and tecks locations, and other changes that were made!"
Basch - "Don't forget though. Swap Magic is needed to play this game if you don't own a japanese PS2."
Vaan - "Also remember that if you played the original, you'll have an easier time playing the international version. We hope you enjoy the International Zodiac Job System experience. See ya then!"

Anyway, FF IV Advance is a lot less hard than the original SNES version. Give it a try.
