Thread: Paper Mario

    Default Paper Mario

What do you think of the Paper Mario video games? Although the two video games have similar stories but with different settings and main villians...I actually like the sequel more than the original because Paper Mario : The Thousand-Year Door made me laugh my ass off.

Is it EVER going to come out on Player's Choice? I can't find 1,000 year door anywhere anymore. I knew I should have got it when it came out.

Most people I know love it, but a friend let me borrow the 1000 Year Door, and honestly I was bored with it.

I haven't played much of 1000 Year Door, but I adored the N64's Paper Mario.

Have you ever played the original Paper Mario on the Nintendo 64?

Paper Mario is one of my favorite games of all time, and the sequel is very spiffy too.

In fact, it did very recently.

I love The Thousand Year Door. I do plan on downloading the original when I get my hands on a Wii.

I never played the N64 version, but I own the GC version and I have to say it's one of the most funnest RPGs I ever played

    Vaan - "Hey, you!"
Penelo - "Yeah, you! The one reading this sig at this very moment!"
Vaan - "Interested in playing FFXII International Zodiac Job system?"
Ashe - "But you have no knowledge of the Japanese language?"
    Fran - "....We could help...."
Balthier - "That's right, Fran! Just click on Crossblades' thread on the very bottom of this signature and it will show you all license grid translations, magicks and tecks locations, and other changes that were made!"
Basch - "Don't forget though. Swap Magic is needed to play this game if you don't own a japanese PS2."
Vaan - "Also remember that if you played the original, you'll have an easier time playing the international version. We hope you enjoy the International Zodiac Job System experience. See ya then!"

Yeah, I thought that one was better but I still wasn't crazy about it.

I thouroughly enjoyed Paper Mario and Paper Mario The Thousand Year Door. Thousand Year Door did a great job of taking the innovative battle system from the first game and making it a hell of a lot deeper. It's possibly the best RPG for the Game Cube. I should replay it.

I really liked Paper Mario : 1000 yr door...but I am old school and I LOVE the original Super Mario RPG for SNES. Its GREAT...but yea, 1000 yr door was awesome. I never beat it but I got pretty far. It was so funny.

Are they as good as Super Mario RPG? I don't have a Gamecube, but I do own a N64.
