I gotta give Thousand Arms credit its a very good RPG, but also I liked Legend of Legaia.

I'll throw my vote in for Suikoden II. I thought the storyline was pretty good.

Thousand Arms and Suikoden 2 were cool, but its between Grandia, Legend of Legaia, Legend of Dragoon and Koudelka for me

I actually liked Alundra quite a lot, (but not Alundra 2, which was a terrible game!) although I guess it is not really a traditional RPG game.

Baten Kaitos had a couple of the most mind-blowing plots twists ever, but everything that wasn't a plot twist was kinda lame.
