Default Gameplay feelings, console v.s. emulator...

Do you think that consoles and emulators have different gameplay feelings for the same games?
I usually played Super Mario World on emulator, and then I found my old SNES console and discovered that this game felt very different on console, in a positive way.
Do you agree on this, and what is it that creates this difference, anyway?

Consoles are far superior, which is why I very rarely emulate anything. The only game I've emulated that actually played pretty well control wise was the second Fire Emblem for the GBA.

Of course, you can shell out money and buy one of those controllers that plug in via USB, but I've never had any real urge to do so. If I really want to play old games again, I'll emulate them on my Dreamcast.

Nah, I think is better to play games in consoles, I have few games, but I rent for $1.5 in the near videoshop, so I'm happy n.n.

Yeah, consoles are better if only because I get to use a controller. Then again, I could always go out and buy one for my PC.

I say emulation, but only because I get fearsome head/neck ache if I play on consoles for too long.

Consoles are easily superior, anything on a keyboard is lame compared on a console.

Many emulators allow for gamepad support.

First person shooters are good with a Keyboard and a mouse, but would be horrible with a keyboard on it's own.

FPS will always be superior on keyboard and mouse. I've been playing a lot of PDZ online recently and it's frustrating sometimes, especially with the sniper rifle when you need good accuracy.

I guess there exceptions, but I dont find FPS's that superior on PC's then consoles. Well, to be honest, the last FPS I played for the PC was Half Life , so I havent played many FPS's lately. There not really my thing i guess.

Emulators are good for a very few things. RPGs mainly. I remeber playing KH CoM on emulator and GBA, and it felt much better on the real thing. The keyboard just could not match the feel of it.

Consoles so rock harder than emulator, but saddly a little annoying kid broke my super, and I have no idea where most of the games went anyway, so until the Wii I'll be emulating SNES, even though I don't want to
