What? The Dualshock 2 was pretty comfortable in my hands. And how often do you even need to use the D-pad?

I use the dpad for everything but First Person Shooters. Action games like Resident Evil or Contra, or fighting games like Virtua Fighter or Guilty Gear. The way the dpad is set to be just seperate buttons lifted above the serface if you move your thumb alot on the dpad with games like that you'll end up either getting blisters or sores on your thumb. I got huge CALLUSES on my left thumb from that.
How much time do you have to spend on video games to get a freaking blister? Life must really suck.
