OK so i've beaten the KH2 on the normal mode..

gone thru back on the proud mode, and i notice a scene that 1st shows the blindfolded Riku fighting one of the Organization XIII member.. then later the same scene shows, but with an extention, Riku defeated the Organization XIII member, (after yelling "Why do you have the keyblade?"), and it turns out that the member was actually Roxas.

Later part in the game stated that Riku LOST to Roxas the 1st time they met, and Riku realize that to defeat the darkness, one must use the power of darkness, and to use the power of darkness, he hafta succumb to the darkness itself, hence taking the form of "Ansem" (or Xehanort's Heartless, for those of u who understand the whole story)..

So he defeated Roxas AFTER he submit to the darkness within him AND deformed into Ansem, rite? THis shows on the scene where Diz and cloaked-Riku put Roxas, still in his Organization robe, on the computer thingie in the COmputer Room and transport him into Diz's Twilight Town, rite?

Anyone care to explain this thing? Seems like a plothole to me..

Does my words here make sense? I'm not good at explaining things..

He defeated Roxas AFTER he succumb to the darkness AND TAKING ANSEM'S FORM..

in the scene where he defeated Roxas, HE WAS IN HIS RIKU FORM, WITH BLINDFOLDED..

It would have been more clear if the movie sequence showed Riku losing the Roxas the first time (when he was in a blindfold).

As for the scene with DiZ and cloaked Riku putting Roxas into the computer program... well it makes sense, doesn't it? Riku started concealing his entire face after he transformed into his dark form, Ansem. So presumably, he was beaten as blindfolded Riku, powered up as Ansem and wiped the floor with Roxas, then stuck an unconscious Roxas into the Twilight Town program with DiZ.

ok but to me the plothole is that.. Riku was beaten while blindfolded, power up as Ansem and defeated Roxas, but the scene shows that the BLINDFOLDED RIKU DEFEATED ROXAS.. but from what Diz said, Riku was suppose to beat Roxas WITH HIS ANSEM FORM..

Riku didn't wipe the floor with Roxas as his Ansem form. It is stated in the game that Riku barely defeated Roxas, and was hardly able to bring Roxas to DiZ.

And I think you might be mistaken, or misinterpreting one of the cutscenes. Riku does not defeat Roxas in any of the KHII cutscenes.

In the scene when Roxas attacks Riku on the ground, and Riku strikes back, and the scene cuts to black, that was just Riku attempting to get away, despite the fact that Roxas falls back injured. If it were the case that this was when Roxas was defeated, Riku would have no need for his Ansem form.

ohhh ok..

so i've misinterpreted the scene... :riiight: i THOUGHT Riku defeated Roxas, in turn he was only trying to protect himself..

ok so that make sense.. that there's NO SCENE SHOWING RIKU DEFEATED ROXAS...

That's correct, they never show Riku defeat Roxas. There's something else too, the reason Riku was wearing a blindfold when he was fighting Roxas was explained towards the end of the game. He wore the blindfold when he used the power of darkness again so he couldn't see what was real. It was a way for him to block out what he knew to be true. It could very well be we saw Riku in that scene before he became Ansem again.
