D. The UOG explains nothing but gives what they say is the "truth." What truth I wonder since it says something while the game says another thing, as my entire essay pointed out. Note that this is an essay explaining my position and not just "Some theorize that Sephiroth was controlling Jenova, but this was incorrect. It was all Jenova" which is basically what the guide says. Note also my thesis includes Advent Children and the guide pre-dates it.
So, basically, you're rejecting the unequivocal official word of an official publication designed to clear up several issues about an official product because it does not contain a signed affidavit from the creators (who WERE consulted in its making) that one particular detail was there idea, and because it predates a movie that does not actually contradict it?

You seem to think that Square is in our same position- that they must explain their reasoning. They aren't. Like Lucas can with SW, Square can do anything to their products they wish, without actually needing to offer justification and support for it.

They said Sephy was the mind of Jenova. You've offered an interesting take on the evidence you provide, but unfortunately for you, Square's word trumps yours.
