When/What was your first Final Fantasy Experience?

Easy, just tell us the first time you ever experienced the grace that is Final Fantasy




Mine was when I was in 4th grade. My parents were going out of town for 5 hours so I rented games before they left. I got Final Fantasy VII and Riven. Riven got boring so I put in FFVII and I liked it...but I didn't have a memory card for my PS because it was brand new and I didn't know you needed one, so I got to the part where you're taking Aeris to the slums or whatever and I died. After that, about.... 3 months later I found FFVII at Wal-mart for $21.95 and I BEGGED my mom to get it for me and she did and that's how I got hooked.
