Cirque du Freak books

The Cirque du Freak series is one of the best I have ever read. Darren Shan is a fantasic author and can make his stories come alive. He has twists and surprising turns in every book and makes you want to run out and by the next book.

Cirque du Freak, for those who haven't heard of it, is made of 12 books that all follow the young life of Darren Shan, a half vampire. (yes, the author and the main character have the same name)

Also he started a new series about demons called Demonata, also very good.

Sadly Ive never heard of them or an author using his name for the lead role. I may look into them. Got enough books to read as it is. The link mentions a movie involved, if I like the movie I may be tempted to get the book cause its usually better.

I loved The Darren Shan Saga! I thought Mr Crepsley was the best character just because he is the best

Mr Crepsley is cool with his orange hair, but Vancha's pretty awesome with his green hair.

(SPOILER)I was totally shocked when Mr. Creplsey died! That was unexpected!

What was the name of that little person again? (SPOILER)Who was secretly Darren from the future!

EDIT:- I have 2 of the new Demonata books! Lord Loss and Demon Thief are great! Not connected to the Darren Shan series at all!

No the new Demon series isn't connected to the other books.

Harkat Mulds was the little person.
