    Default NAMM '06

So, any drummers out there that had a look at the Namm '06 roundup? There were some really good pieces there and I think most brands introduced a new product or two.

Was anyone lucky enough to go? Anyway, discuss.

I wanted to go to NAMM '06, but it conflicted with university classes. But I do plan to go in 2007.

While I'm just getting into drums, it interesting to see the latest kits and hardware from Sonor, DW, and Yamaha.

Well DW introduced a new acoustic Equalizer snare drum which allows drummers to control air usage by the drum. I think it's controlled by grills in the side of the drum or something. They also brought out a few new wood grain finishes.

Yamaha showed their new laquered finish drum kits and unveiled the signiture Steve Gadd 30th anniversary kit.

unfortunately I live in aus so I wouldn't be able to get there without travelling and like you, it falls on my school times.
