The hardest boss in any ff

Emerald so far as an optional Boss, but the 4 Sealed Monsters in FFV in X-Death's forrest was a pain in the ass. I faced him literally 50 times and took a 4 month break from the game just because I was so sick of doing the pre-boss battle routine due to the fact I was basically re-enacting the route in my dreams.

I eventually beat the 4 Seals then when I figured out how good the Samurai was...damnit.

Mount Gagazet Seymour, without contest. He's the only boss who I've ever had to train for any great amount of time for.

There were alot of bosses in Final Fantasy X that were harder than Seymour in Gagazet.

The only boss that took me a long time to beat was Braska's Final Aeon. He was very hard for me. i haven't got to the end of some games though so there are probably harder. I almost got to the end of Final Fantasy V but I went into the N-Zone too soon and after beating a boss or two (I was leveled up alot) found out I didn't stand a chance against the next bosses. So I never got to fight X-Death at the end.
