Yeah I only like the rain when I am not in it. I used to really enjoy playing around outside and getting soaked but I can't stand it anymore. Cold and wet at the same time isn't fun. There's a different atmosphere or mood when it's raining, and the sun isn't shining. Not depressing or even melancholy, but I don't know. Something. I like that. And it makes me want to read even more, so that's cool too.

I am in my element when it rains. To feel a light ,warm cascade on your skin is to be cleansed and revitalized. And the life-giving qualities of the water itself ... people lament the rain while a thousand miles away in circumstances of drought, people would be grateful for a drop of it.
