I think there is a bug whereby if you are using non-default controls on the PC version, it reverts back to defaults for some small sections, including disc changes. Possibly this is what is happening here?

I tried it there now on my copy, works fine for me with my own controls, and with a joypad configured. Are you sure you're pressing the right buttons ?
