your boyfriend/girlfriend do nothing on your birthday

Ummm...I celebrate it with family for supper, and then head out and spend it with friends. When I've had girlfriends in the past on my bday, they usually join in with my family in going out to eat, and then me and the gf would spend the rest of the day together.

Honestly if my boyfriend didn't remember my birthday/didn't do anything for it, that's enough reason for dumpage Maybe I just have high standards.

I went to Prague for my bday this year and he came along. Bought me a couple of meals there and the CSI Tarantino DVD I'd been after for ages. We're going to Tokyo for this bday this year with his family. We've celebrated 6 birthdays together, 3 each.

Hell, I've forgotten my own birthday before. I just don't care enough.

Although the cake and money is pretty nice sometimes.

I know when it is. The problem is that when you go through life only half awake, and the awake half is constantly daydreaming, you tend to lose track of time, and even what day it is.

One summer I thought it was Friday for a whole week.

I forgot about my 18th birthday...it was rather amusing

I hadn't been seeing Lasuria very long when I turned 18, and he came to a restaurant with my family, (he's a very brave man, my family can be a little scary/weird especially when drunk, and boy did they get drunk on my 18th, and amazingly enough he asked me to marry him later that same year!) Last year we had dinner together.

I wouldn't be that bothered. I'm not particularly fussed about birthdays.

I don't really think birthdays are a huge deal. When they are mine. When it's other people's I like making a SMALL fuss. I could care less about people forgetting about my own birthday; there are much more important things to be thinking about.

I don't expect much for my birthday. I've learned to be that way, and I don't mind it at all. As for a girlfriend having a birthday, I always remember that and I always get them something. I think I've only been the boyfriend of... what... two girlfriends on their actual birthday, though? Three? Three, I think, yeah.
