So funny story... I made a point of not playing FFXI when it came out. I just KNEW that I could be the type to get somewhat hopelessly addicted to an MMORPG. So for a year I made a point of not picking the game up. Well one night I was sitting at home reading another FF messageboard that I've frequented for around 7 years now (wow it's been a long time). Well I wandered into their FFXI forums and decided to have a look around at the game I knew nothing about and had been avoiding.

Well I found their Official Picture Thread and began browsing. Everything looked so epic. Their advetures looked so fun. They were interacting and working together and it just looked like far to much fun. So this was around 2 A.M. I decided to drive to the nearest Wal-Mart and picked up a copy of the game and came home to install it. The next morning I started playing (after updates of course). It was great. I loved it.

It all started because of a picture thread. You can read about people's adventures but there's something different about pictures. I've been neglectful in taking many pictures lately because it seems like the same old to me but I remember when this stuff was fresh and new and awesome. So anyway... I think maybe this place needs an Official Picture Thread just for the random adventures we go on and the fun things we do so that we can get to know eachother a little better.

Like I said I've been quite a bit lax in taking pics lately and when I do take them they aren't very good. Here's one recently of us fighting the boss of Dynamis-Beaucedine (which I'd never done and got me the flag so I could participate in Dynamis-Xarcabard). Nothing special really but you might find it interesting.
