my first attempt to make sigs

hi everyone been so long since I posted here are my recent work hope they are good ^_^:

Interesting. Playing around with Filters is a good way to learn photoshop.

I'm gonna tell u how to do filters, because once you learn to do them your work will look better.

How to make a border


1. Go to Layer> New> New Layer... this layer will be the template you put the border on (make sure this is the topmost layer or the border wont work). Then (depending on your version) click on the selection tool.



2. Right-click on that button, and select the sigle-row selection tool.



3. Now, zoom until the pixels are comfortable sized.



4. Select the very top of the image using the selection tool. Use the paintbucket tool on the selection you made on the top of the image. Repeat for the very bottom of the image.



5. Switch the selection tool to the single column selection tool.



6. Repeat step 4, but this time do it to the sides.



7. Thats it! Save the image and you're done.

good tutorial but there is much much much simpler way which I have already said in this thread:

And put some borders by making a new layer, selecting the whole canvass and going to Edit > Stroke and set it to 1 px on the inside with the colour you want. Then set them to Overlay or something so it kinda blends in witht he background.

I've never liked the idea of having the same character multiple times in the same image. Apart from that, just make sure to keep the propotions when you resize, and don't stretch the images. That's easy to notice and just looks bad, in my opinion. That's the only critique I've got, apart from that they're pretty good.
