Thread: NES emulators.

  1. #1

    Default NES emulators.

Nestopia is too laggy for me when I'm running multiple programs. Any better emulators that are easier on processor/memory? ZSNES is good for keeping SNES emulation lag-free while I'm multitasking; is there such an emu for NES?

Also, an NES emu with a fastforward key would rock.

I've always used JNES for NES emulation. It seems fine for me while I am multitasking. For me that's using MSN and browsing EoFF and maybe running winamp. But I don't know what multitasking is to you, so I don't know if it's better or worse than Nestopia.

nnnesterJ- find it on this page, about 5th from the top:

    http://www.zophar.net/nes.html

It doesn't screw your CPU usage over you can run several other programs at the same time, and it is considered the best by that site. custom fast foward included with more features than any other emulator. If this doesn't work, it's probably because you have a crappy computer...

How do you use fast forward on this nnnesterJ? I don't see such an option.
