Demyx's second form. (< was the a spoiler?)

can someone please help me? i always do good.. then he only has 1 more health bar left and i'm like OK I GOT THIS and he does some showstealer.. and i even get gameovers and sora's standing there.. and my heath doesn't even have to be on red! ive seen guides on the internet (gamefaqs) and they say to go into one of the valor, master, whatever forms to "easily" beat demyx's little water forms or whatever. that really doesnt help. i am level 28.. should i go up to 30? should i equip some ability? what am i doing wrong? oh, i have donald and goofy's special "team attack" things they can do with sora.. donald's really helps but goofy's is a little lacking. OH!, and when i an trying to defeat his forms, and i press triangle to do that one special move thing that grabs one of the mini demyx's and slings him around, hitting other little demxys thus making this whole thing faster (forget what it's called) & goofy or donald always get in the way and i end up pressing triangle and doing a special attack! it's super annoying. i just want to beat demx and go on with my kingdom hearts 2 life ahhhh.

No. Demyx is too awesome to be killed. Yew has reacth teh game overxxorz.

You'll be fine if you spam Donald's Limit (Duck Flare/Comet, whatever it's called), or if you memorize Demyx's movments. Get through that part of the battle. The hardest part is the kill 10 in 10 seconds. The key is to use Wild Dance ONCE, and kill off the rest of the forms manually (Keyblade, they only have 1 HP).

Turn off Auto-Limit, but turn on Auto-Valor/Wisdom, incase you need the quick heal provided.

His Rave attack SHOULD kill you; it does 2.5x damage. The way to stop Rave, is the Reaction Command, Showstealer, which returns the damage, and stuns him for a short time.

The easiest way to kill Demyx is Anti Form. Too bad you have to have some good luck (or lack of it). Valor and Wisdom provide a free Heal, so use if necessary.

i hated fighting him he would have a little bit of his health bar left and it would do the kill 10 water thingys in 10 seconds that would cause me to loose.
but still i like his character he's the loveable dork

I did not like it till I figured out what to do.

1st beat up on him untill he does starts the runing around the field with the geusers coming up use goofeys limit to stop it and do some good dammage on the last one where he is a rocket you can do some good dammage while it is happening. then when he summons water clones use the reaction twice which should drop them to around 1 or 2 left beat them. then use master form as his double jump is really helpfull to jump over his attacks. also the spining master strike is good to. If he is not dead when this master is over use the goofey limit again to do alot more damage. this should finish him as I was level 23 when I fought him first.

Tavrobel's strategy is great; Comet is a Godsend. I also found that going buckwild on Demyx with Valor form following the 10 Forms/10 Seconds bout was extremely useful; the main thing is to keep him stuck with attacks so that he can't use his power moves against you. And yes, make sure you're using your reaction commands.

Not really. Wild Dance is definitely more useful than Donald's Limits. The 10 forms in 10 seconds becomes 10 in 5 in Proud Mode. Following Demyx and attacking him after his waterslide attack (within the geyser barrier) and pounding on him relentlessly with an Explosion finisher is a pretty good way to drop his healthbars to the point he may never be able to use the Water Forms attack. Also remove any other combo+ and air combo+ attacks you may have. It's harder to beat the Water Forms when you have a slew of attacks before you finisher. They also do too little damage to warrant their use in battle.

It's hard to time if you're not paying attention but it's real inconvenient to lose the battle because of this. Keep in mind, if you're too far away, he won't be able to manage the Rave attack at all.

I don't think so. You're attacks are too long to deliver finishing blows to the Water Forms and you take too much damage and cannot heal. So you may find yourself just running away.

I had too many uses with the other forms and ended up stuck with Anti every time I tried to Drive during battle. I went Wisdom before entering the battle and used Sora's non-stop sliding Firaga to quickly dispatch the 50. I then cancelled the form so I could use my Explosion finisher against Demyx (Finishing Plus is also useful), following him through his geysers to attack him before he could move again.

Get as close as possible and get behind him if he starts shooting water balls. There's really no advice I can give about the water from the sky. You can run away, but it might hit you anyway.

Don't equip Guard. Do equip Retaliating Slash.

i beat him with auto-valor.. & donald's comet it actually came in use because i was running low on health and the reaction command came up with auto valor.. i really wasnt paying attention but i pressed triangle and i got a free heal.. lashed him once and he was dead.


i know this is off topic but that "1,000 Heartless" thing was kinda fun

I meant for when Demyx doesn't have his water forms out. If he does, Wild Dance all the time. And I was assuming that he wasn't playing Proud Mode.

Although, personally, I didn't use Limits on Demyx, nor Drives, so that ended up me dying a whole lot.

Anti-Form is good, because it gets down Demyx's HP FAST, and REALLY FAST. Finishing Blows aren't a real concern, especially if you need to survive before he blasts you with his geysers and rain. Running is good if he can't catch you, although most of the time, he probably will.

dont you get anti form when he beats up on you a whole lot & you get gameovers? what's the point of anti form? i know it prolly the deadliest drive but i mean come on.. & yeah i just ran from him the best i could and waited for someone to heal me or for my mp bar thing to go back to blue

No. That couldn't be further from the truth. But yes, it is a deadly one.

Anti-Form is based on how many times you use Valor, Wisdom, and Master Form. An invisible counter is present, and it goes up by one every time you use one of those forms. Depending on how high the counter is, the higher chance you have of getting Anti-Form. Unlike other Forms, it is never selectable from the Form menu. Everytime you get a new Form, the counter resets to Zero. Final Form also reduces this counter by ten everytime it is used, and Final cannot trigger Anti-Form. Anti-Form also reduces the counter by four if triggered.
