when you fight vegnaguns leg cast reflect one your self to minimise damage and kill the nodes(despite their 300,000hp). you will get a hero drink for everyone you kill.

I killed all the 3 nodes... once. I didn't had patience to keep using sparkler/ spare change for about 1 hour again

but wtf?? I got 3 megalixirs from the nodes, not hero drink O_O

Megalixirs are the regular drop, Hero Drinks are the rare drop. You can also steal a Hero Drink from Shuyin.

Yep, anything long-ranged will hit them.

vegnagun is so easy you don't even need fancy attacks except maybe changing dresspheres once in a while. dark knight and berserker were most effective for me.

I guess you would want them to just... have. I'm something of an item-hoarder myself, and enjoy the idea that I could make any Alchemical mix I want...

However, there truly is no reason to get the things, as this game is increadibly easy, as most Final Fanasy games are...

and also because when you get a Hero Drink, you're already at the end of the game... the only part they could be useful is... wait, there's no such part!!
