Well, according to Neel we're not a good enough team. =[ Considering Buffon is thought to be the best keeper in the world. Cosnidering Luca Toni is the last person to score 30 goals in one season in forty years. Considering Fabio Cannavaro is one of, if not the, best defender in the world. Xabi Alonso is a god, and was the best player on the pitch. The other central midfielders, Fabregas, Xavi, Vieira and Makelele were also fantastic.
Fernando Torres and Thierry Henry are overrated divers.
Typical Spain, really. Showing great promise early on, before faltering in the knockout stages.
3-0 flattered Brazil, and was harsh on Ghana. The thing about Brazil is that even though they don't play well, they can still win 3-0. Impressive.
It amuses me that the two stars of France 98, Zidane and Ronaldo, both of whom have been accused of being past it, scored today, and will meet once more in the next round.

The French have seriously sorted themselves out. Zidane -- forgive me. I honestly thought Spain had a squad capable of winning this game, and the whole WC in fact.

I hate Puyol I am so happy he fouled =D And GOSH, Ribery. WHAT A GOD! I was really angry at first because I thought Domenech had taken Ribery off for Zidane, but as I later learnt he'd kept them both on, so yay. *joy* None of the ref's decisions were particularly disputable, so good on HIM.
That grin on Henry's face as he hugged Zidane after the game. Oh gosh, it was WONDERFUL!

I'm happy for France but just as sorry for Spain. As Zidane showed us today, you cannot keep a good player down, I never doubted him for a second. As for Henry's behaviour he should be disappointed with his lack of sportsmanship as I am disgraced with his dishonesty. I'm just glad he didn't do that in an Arsenal shirt

An England - Germany final would be about the most boring final there could ever be. There's no soft touch, no finesse in that game.
According to a survey conducted with citizens of every country in Europe, France is the most unpopular country among its fellow European nations. I don't think their popularity in Spain has improved over the last couple of hours.
