Adriano is like that, he is a selfish player and thinks he's the sol pupose of the Inter Milan squad. In my eyes i don't rate him.

Adriano is, along with Ibrahimovic and Robinho, the most overrated player at this World Cup. Give me Fred any day...

btw, I've seen the future... Germany will beat Italy 2-1 in one semi and England will beat France AET in the other.

Yes C.Ronaldo will be feet to train tomorrow so he should be able to play against England.

    I vote Brazil because

    1) I have love for my country

    and

    2) They've won 5 world cups, why stop now?

I do fear Argentina though. They have a good chance of winning.

Add Lampard to the pile, too. I thought Robinho looked dangerous when he came on against Australia, although I don't know how well he did against Japan, as I was watching Croatia - Australia.

2nd place in fantasy football! Considering I missed the first 8 days and missed one other day too im doing pretty damn well

My system crashed the last two days before the tournament started, so I wasn't able to field a complete roster for the fantasy competition. It also proves that I shouldn't have waited until the last two days to fill my roster up. Oh well, that hasn't taken away from excitement of the games!

    Take care all.

By happy coincidence, the team I picked at the start of the tournament and changed once during the course of and then left up until now consists of Englishmen, Portugese, Argentines, Germans, Brazilians, Italians, A Frenchman and a Ukranian. :D

You actually had an advantage then... you could see who the form players were when you picked your team. All the rest of us didnt know whether all the 23 we picked would play... no surprise you're doin well then.

I was in it, but I had picked 11 players for my line up consisting only of 4 different teams, and they werent even the ones that actually played first, because I didnt know how to play these fantasy games. I think I had like 20 points on the 17th of June, while the top player had 150+ by that time.

I am cancelling my aol account and wont have internet from the 1st of July until late on the 8th. So wont be able to post during that time.

Great game. Germany advancing on PK's. Big saves from Lehmann.

Tough loss for Argentina. A few big questions too. No Messi? Why'd they take out Riquelme?

    Take care all.

The moment Riquelme went off, the whole Argentine strategy seemed to fall apart. Even if his passes forward weren't the best, he certainly makes such a difference to the structure of the side overall. Messi not being played will be on everyone's lips in Argentina.

I want to know what got Heinze so fired up. He's usually a very calm, friendly guy with a lot of respect towards opposition - at least when he's played for MU he's been that way.

Messi doesn't usually start. They want the more veteran players on the field.

I really wanted to see Argentina go on, but after that display during penalties, I feel Germany deserves to go on. This is the first time ever that Argentina loses in penalties during a World Cup.

The favorites now, and who will probably meet in the Finals will be Germany and Brazil. This time Germany has the upper hand.
