No, you rank just below Pol Pot. I think, oppressing intellectualism is a slightly greater achievement than singing R Kelly songs off-key.

Sometimes I wonder what my life would be like if I were as great as Paulo Wanchope.

    Cz for the burn!

It's about time Portugal learns to stop blaming on the refs and learn to play. I love the booing of C. Ronaldo and I gloat at the possibility that he will never get to play professional football again (at least in England). All of Portugal's antics and bull aside, the game is still very close, and if Portugal keeps the pressure up I can see France's defense giving way. However, Lillian Thuram is my hero and he would never allow such a thing, so looks like things are going well so far.

Portugal blame stuff on the refs? Sounds like a lot like England to me - and plenty of teams beside. And I think C. Ronaldo enjoys the booing anyway, he's the sort of person who thrives on it - just look at his penalty on Saturday.

I too love the booing of Cronaldo. Not because I hate him or anything (LOL) but because I immediately know who exactly has the ball. That being said, he's been the best Portugese player on pitch so far as I see. I've heard a lot of booing, so he must be playing a pretty big part!

(But that was such a dive in the 34th/35th minutes!)

Yay for Ribery. I hope he scores, and Henry too. It's been a pretty close game though. :/ That Maniche man, he is a pest.

EDIT: Also -- Ricardo. I find it totally cool the way he always dives the right way, as he has for every singe penalty taken against him this WC.

You don't need to wait for them to lose here, just find vids of when he lost the 2005 FA Cup Final and Euro 2004 final and was crying then!

As for him leaving Man Utd, I wouldn't mind, though not for the sanctimonious reasons spouted here - as an Arsenal supporter, a Man Utd team minus Ronaldo and Van Nistelrooy is easier to beat, and that suits me fine XD

The final should be a good game. Here's hoping Italy can pull it off.

Well. I sure didn't thunk it at the beginning xD But awesome. I am very happy! It was my dream to see Henry lift the World Cup because I thought he deserved it and IT MIGHT ACTUALLY COME TRUE! Now, just to steamroller the Italians.

Dan, Dan. There's nothing wrong with having a head shaped like ET!
