Vaan - "Hey, you!"
Penelo - "Yeah, you! The one reading this sig at this very moment!"
Vaan - "Interested in playing FFXII International Zodiac Job system?"
Ashe - "But you have no knowledge of the Japanese language?"
Fran - "....We could help...."
Balthier - "That's right, Fran! Just click on Crossblades' thread on the very bottom of this signature and it will show you all license grid translations, magicks and tecks locations, and other changes that were made!"
Basch - "Don't forget though. Swap Magic is needed to play this game if you don't own a japanese PS2."
Vaan - "Also remember that if you played the original, you'll have an easier time playing the international version. We hope you enjoy the International Zodiac Job System experience. See ya then!"

I think the similarity in the Summoner's Trial sounds a bit too far-fetched to be an intentional reference, but I'll have to beat the game and see that scene to be sure.
People dislike FFIX because they're horrible idiots. - Kawaii Ryűkishi
"One-Winged Angel" is far and away the best final boss song ever
composed. - Kawaii Ryűkishi
Zidane: May have not been intentional but I think it's a tad awkward how everyone trys to say some scenes in FFIX didn't reference FFIV it completely ripped FFIV off, well boohoo, FFIX is a tribute. So I think it would be fitting if Square Enix intended the Summon's Trial to reference FFIX, now FFIX fans would have the right to say, "Oh yeah, well look who's ripping off who now?"
Rydia's trial doesn't quite reference FFIX so much as just parallel it somewhat.
Zidane: Perhaps, it's not an intentional reference, you have to admit it's a funny coincidence, years later it's Rydia (SPOILER)getting summons stolen from her. But you guys might be a right it may not be intentional.
I read about some of the glitches but i haven't tried any yet. one is that if u cast Berserk on Edward/Gilbert, and have him Hide, he'll emerge and attack with Berserk status, but the computer doesn't realize that he's there and so enemies won't attack the spoony bard.![]()
Zidane: Yeah, that is hilarous, you have to remember Edward wasn't around when there were mages with Berserk so Square probably didn't think about that in the remake, Edward can go from the most useless characterin the game to the most useful with this glitch.Originally Posted by Pyt Fumv

(SPOILER)In the final dungen, if you have the sense to save the Grimoires, Zeromus EG is a breeze. But he looks cool.
Many thanks Christmas!

He isn't that hard even without them, unfortunately.
apparently the glitches were fixed on the european version (according to wikipedia). i'm assuming the australian version is the same...? i've never noticed any glitches on mine.Originally Posted by obsessed_wif_yuna
