    Default Besides KOTR and Bahamut ZERO, what is the best Summon?

    I've been meaning to ask this for a while but there are summons besides KOTR and that seems to be everyone's favorite. So besides that (and the next obvious choice, Bahamut ZERO) what is everyone's favorite summon?

    typhoon. i usually find him even stronger than bahamut zero. he can easily do 8,000 damage. you find him in the forest of the ancients. you need a green chocobo or to be on disk 3 and beat ultima weapon to get there.

    in terms of damage, KOTR is obviously going to be evryones favurite

    in terms of looks, i would say that . . . odin is my favourite

    Hades is the most useful summon there is, damage aside. As stated having it attached to Added Effect on your weapon is akin to Bad-Breath-on-a-stick.

    Technically speaking, Alexander's power is the same as Bahamut ZERO's (base x 7 1/2), but all the Bahamut summons ignore the enemy's MDef. The next most powerful would be Typhoon (base x 6 7/8), followed by Kjata (base x 6 1/4), Hades (base x 5 5/8), then Neo Bahamut (base x 5, ignores MDef).

    My favourite is Phoenix.

    pheonix is very useful. if you master it twice to get 3 pheonix materias you will be near invincible because everyone will be able to revived 2 people at once in one turn.
