Dragon Quest VIII Dragovian Trials

Anyone take on these? Anyone finish them all? What levels where you at when you did?

So far I've beaten up to the (SPOILER)Silver Dragon, but that's just me playing every now and then.

I did get to like the...third dragon legally, but I cheated for the rest. Heh. Maybe one day I'll open up my main game file and power level or something.

Anyway, Timbrels of Tension are very important.

So it goes something like this:

Fighters use Timbrels of Tension
Mages Oomph the fighters
Mages spend rest of time using Sage's stones, while fighters get to 100% Tension.

BAM!

Pretty much. Still, there are some emergency situations...fortunately, all the characters seem to have some sort of healing spell, so meh.

Yeah, that's how I did it too. Angelo & Jessica cast oomph on Yangus & Hero, then Jessica uses Timrbrel of Tension, and Angelo heals like a mother%$@#%&.

Of course, it never seems to go as smoothly as this, as plenty of times I had to have the Hero revive Angelo.
