Ages 17-18. If they don't look like they could pass for under 20 why would you want them playing teenagers? Honestly?

Diane is 30 which is pretty old to be playing a teenager. But if you think it about it most actors who are older than 17-18 end up playing teenagers. But I think Quistis should be casted as a mature role. Maybe an actors atleast in their mid 20's would be best for her role. As for Laguna I think I found someone...that isn't Bon Jovi... How about Takeshi Kaneshiro?

Edea HAS to be played by Tarja Turunen... AKA the goddess of European opera, and the lead singer of the best gothic metal band of all time; Nightwish. It just makes sense, people. She can look stunningly evil or drop-dead gorgeous, just as Edea did as she transformed from the evil sorceress to the modest Matron by disc 4.

Nah, Takeshi doesn't really resemble Squall all that much. And he would look freaky lookin' with grey colored contacts...:O_O:. But I wouldn't mind focusing on him for 90 minutes either.
