Why would you all want real people to play the parts? That's really odd, I think it would be better with Japanese actors and two It would probably be good as a CG movie like Final Fantasy VII Advent Children.

1- Japanese actors aren't real people?
2- FF8 and its characters were supposed to be explicitly more western, hence basing Squall on River Pheonix.
3- If we're doing CG, Robin Williams as 3/4 the cast.

First of all, I was really going for the western actors. I just don't think they have the features, except for the eyes and hair color. The japanese actors have the facial features for it. I like it more. No reason to give me a list for my opinion. CG is good and Japanese Voice Actors too do it also. I'm sorry but maybe you need a chill pill.

Also, the Live DB was a foreign knockoff of the first major DB arc, and no one related to DB sanctioned it.
The live action Stars must refer to the Sera Myus musicals, which run the gamut from great to mind numbing. All are amusing as hell, though.
House of the Dead I can explain in two words. UWE BOLL.
I can explain SF2 in three. Jean Claude VanDamme. Even the kickass guy who played Bison couldn't pull a VanDamme movie out of the mud.
The problem with Doom was that they couldn't commit. That and the only thing it had in common with actual doom after the changed it was the generic crap.
I liked Super Mario Bros. Had nothing to do with SM, but then again, they had nearly nothing to work with, and managed to make a decent product.

Basically, it's all about respecting the material.

Though I doubt FF8 would work as a movie (unless it's a sequel). I say 6-13 episode series, 24 if we wanna be comprehensive about everything. That should get just about all the plot and plot battles.
Maybe a movie or movie length episode to finish it off.

Well you might want to watch the live action version of sailor moon, Those characters looked white. but were in fact japanese actos playing them in the live action version. The Japanese well probably have they're own actors play the parts before any western actor. I just don't think it fits them.

I was making a point that there were live action animes and what not with JAPANESE actors. even though most animes protray western/european people. I go to many anime conventions. And i've told people i've seen the Live action of Sailor moon. Some hate and some love it. Just because I like something, should not mean i should keep it in,because i'm afraid of what people think of me. Cause I couldn't care less.
