First of all. I don't know names of actors from japan. But i do know that I would find them more appealing then western actors.

When I first posted in here, I came with my opinion and I did not bother anyone else's. But I guess people are just anal.

Actually, you came in and after a simple post which was one part wry poking and one part explaining that having asians to play characters the creator had said were explicitly western was kinda silly, you said "should" and then seem to have gone on the defensive.

I was making a point that there were live action animes and what not with JAPANESE actors. even though most animes protray western/european people.

Bull[img]/xxx.gif[/img][img]/xxx.gif[/img][img]/xxx.gif[/img][img]/xxx.gif[/img]. Pure and simple. Not only did the anime/Drama YOU cited involve ONLY Asian characters, so did all the ones I mentioned. Not to mention the boldfaced claim that most anime portray westerners instead of asians.
On the OTHER hand, when Sunrise Bandai decided to make a live action Gundam movie, they went with WESTERN actors for the movie.

I don't understand why you must break up all of my posts and pick little things out just to make me feel stupid. I came in here with my opinion and I wasn't messin with anyone else. Why are you picking someone for a simple spelling error I may have made? Is that what you set out to do?

You called me a smegging retard. You have no leg to stand on. And you can have your opinion. You can't use opinion as a defense. Especially once you utter the magic word of 'should'.

I go to many anime conventions. And i've told people i've seen the Live action of Sailor moon. Some hate and some love it. Just because I like something, should not mean i should keep it in,because i'm afraid of what people think of me. Cause I couldn't care less.

And just because you think something, does not mean it should be so.
Let's use another example. Someone wants to make a live action version of a fictionalized version of the vedas made by an American, but the author has said the characters are definitely Indian. Should the actors in this movie be Americans, since it is made in America, or Indian, since the characters are Indian?

Whooo! Calm down. Did you even see my first post? Everyone made they're opinion and so I made mine. Since when was there any harm in that?

And for that last question. They should be Indian. The americans have lots of books or whatever you were implying with different raced characters. And when they make the movie, the character's protray the nationalities that were in the book.

That thing about the Gundam movie. Either that was done in english or they had western actors come and perform it in Japanese. Also most animes have characters that are blonde and blue eyed. and pale skin. Some of them. but most of them protray western characters. If I recall watching america's next top model. They went to Japan and this Japanese woman commented "The japanese wish to have eyes,hair and skin like that" She was directing that towards the pale white,blonde and blue eyed model.
