1. Can we concentrate more on the topic at hand? We don't need another thread where Americans boast about their perceived superiority.
2. I have been to several football matches, and have watched several more on TV. In all that time I can only recall twice where a player has been racially abused. I'm not saying it doesn't happen, but it's very rare and is started by racists who manage to get hold of tickets, not fans who appreciate the world's no.1 sport. And don't pretend that there is no such thing as racism in the United States.
3. If I ever have children, I would have no concerns about taking them to see a football match.
