Anyway, use GameShark and get the cheat from internet.

*sigh* a place i always use is the narrow path that leads straight from the north section to the south section. on that path it strikes 2 times then waits like 2 secs before another 2. it's realy quick and easy. i u want a place wer u don't have to keep stepping forward to were u once were, try the alcove with the qactuar stone and the chest that had the water ball. stand next to the southernmost wall then when u dodge a stirke tidus won't actually move but he won't get hit either, so all u need to do is press X at the rite time. however the strikes don't come here as frequently as the method i said above.

Hmm...just what kind of time do you have playing this game? I'm all for doing it through hard work, but wating for a light to flash so you can press the X button...200 times...is a little rediculous if you ask me. Buy an Action Replay, or better yet Codebreakers. Takes less time to load. But if you don't cheat, I strongly suggest equipping something with No Encounters. I always get hit right after a battle.

i played the game a million times and never actually did the lightning thing, i was way to busy gaining exp for later on bosses like seymour and yunalesca.... OMG i hated them but the lightning thing? eh, maybe once i get the new ps3 ill try it, because i know im goin back to the late night gaming rituals

seriously that would take forever. 200 dodges in a row? the lightning never came for me until i got an encounter so that would take a long time. is the sigil really that good? is it worth it though?

no, not because of the 'dignity' thingie, the cheat won't workkk!!

I've tried the cheat on my 2nd play through the game, and the cheat won't work! sure, u have the sigil (or izzit crest?) in u'r inventory, but when u wanted to go and upgrade u'r weapon, that 'tree' won't allow it, it won't detect that sigil/crest that u've just obtain by cheating..

so tough luck.. equip no-encounter, go to the place where the lightning strike twice (no pun intended), and currents awayyy!! Ohh, control u'r breathing while doing that thing.. :meditate:
