When they didn't work they then tried to flush the baby down the toliet. The baby almost drowned in the toliet, but the couple pulled the baby out and brought it to a hospital. Shortly after being brought to the hospital the baby died. The couple were then charged with murder of their child...thankfully.
That is the saddest story I've heard in ages. It's awful.
