Agreed. I still haven't seen Ju-on, but I did see Ringu, and The Ring was a much better film. I may watch Ju-on this weekend if I get the chance though since you reminded me. I started it once but never got the chance to finish it.Originally Posted by Germ Hamee
King Kong was of course an awesome remake. One of my favorite movies of last year, and possibly of all time to be honest. And though not really intended to be a remake, I think it'd be hard to argue that The Punisher wasn't better than the original. Granted it was still crap, and I never saw all of the original, but I think my point stands. I also thought the remake of the Amityville Horror was decent. I never saw much of the original so I won't bother comparing, but I did enjoy the remake.
